The Brewster Inn offers occasional fine dining events which feature the culinary skills of our guest chef Angela Kelby. Enjoy a delicious multi-course gourmet dinner, with fine wine, in our lovely dining room. Our special event dining includes selections such as: Beef Tenderloin Au Poivre, Brie En Croute and Molten Chocolate Cake. A Foodie's delight!


Fine Dining Event Calendar:
February 27, 2009 - Gathering begins at 6:15 PM with drinks and appetizer.
Dinner seating begins at 7:15 PM.

Cost $60 per person inc tax and tip.

Each course paired with a different wine.


Reservations are required 207.924.3130.
Please reserve early as seating is limited.

Appetizer
Assorted cheese and crackers with a citrus champagne punch

Starter
Zesty chicken cakes with tangy remoulade

Salad
Caesar salad

Mains
Rustic beef stew
Richly flavoured and coloured broth using a plethora of root vegetables simmered with a fine bottle of merlot and the aromatic flavours of garlic and rosemary..

Savoury Pork stew
Light almost sweet broth with an abundance of root vegetables, sweet potato and apple simmered together with the aromatic flavours of thyme and marjoram.

Dessert
Orange and pineapple carrot cake

It was very refreshing to attend an event featuring local wines, as opposed to the usual selections, that added local charm to the evening. The food was also very good...our hat's off to the caterer!
